(Airborne), Torii Station, Japan, died Sept. 1, in Batur
Village, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces
attacked their unit with small arms fire.

Mission Summary:
|
Riders will stand honors at Love Field for the arrival of
SSgt. Border and proceed to Restland Funeral Home. For the
visitation, we will prepare and stand the flag line. The
flag line will be set again at the Family Cathedral of
Praise for the funeral service. The PGR will proceed from the church to
Restland for interment.

Details Of Part 1:

Riders will stage at Landmark Aviation and prepare for the
procession to Restland Funeral Home on Greenville Avenue,
approximately 14 miles. We will hold the safety briefing and
then prepare to render honors as SSGT Border arrives and is
transferred to the coach. Riders will then lead the
procession to the cemetery. LEO will be present.

Details Of Part 3:
|
Riders will stage closest to the lot entrance on the left
side of the parking lot. We will stand a Flag line for the
arrival of SSGT Border’s Family and friends. Following the
start of the service, we will furl the flags, hold a rider's
safety briefing, and prepare to position for honors as SSGT
Border is transferred to the coach. As soon as the service
concludes, we will escort Family and friends in the
procession 13.6 miles for the interment service at Restland
Memorial. Upon arrival at the cemetery, riders will proceed
to the interment area, park, and stand the line as the horse
drawn carriage carries SSGT Border. There is not a
designated time for the interment service. LEO will be
present.

(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and
to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at
any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get

not forget your sun screen.

their family.
